27th birthday

Last week we celebrated my already 27th birthday. Crazy! When I woke up, Marek told me to wait in the bed. Seconds later he came to our bedroom with a new laptop in his hands. Some of you may know that my old computer almost exploded and that I had to hold it in our oven. Yeah… Ever since I’ve wanted to buy myself a new computer for writing, but hadn’t managed to get on with it yet. So, Marek thought he’d buy me one, so I couldn’t make excuses of why I can’t write anymore. I can’t deny, I had mixed feelings about it at first, because I really wanted to buy it myself, but eventually I got over it. I’m just gonna make sure he gets something even more special for his birthday.

After getting my present I went to work and celebrated my birthday with my second family– my colleagues. I feel truly blessed to be able to do the thing I love the most with such a beautiful team. They gave me the most gorgeous bouquet, a baby pink sweatshirt with “EMMAnuelle” written on it and a bookstore gift card (since I’m always carrying my books to work, so I could read during lunch breaks). I love these guys.

After work we went to eat with Marek. I didn’t know where we’ll be going up until we arrived there – OKO. Such a beautiful place and just the right menu – snacks, pizzas and cakes. I highly recommend the diavola pizza and apple cake with vanilla custard!

When we finally arrived home, we went for a walk with Mõmmi and decided to take some family pictures along the way, because we barely have any! They came out pretty cute, considering they were taken with a timer, don’t you think?

Anyhow, that’s how my 27th birthday went. Sad to be a year older, but happy that every year brings me closer to living the life I’ve always dreamed of. 🙂
