Pärnu

It’s hard to put into words how peaceful and relaxing the past few weeks have been. I was truly struggling with myself before my vacation. There were days I was negative about every little thing, so negative that I made myself sick. I didn’t want to be that toxic person anymore… So before sinking even further into the abyss, I grabbed a book that I had bought some time ago but had forgotten to read – Good Vibes, Good Life: How Self-Love Is The Key To Unlocking Your Greatness. Sometimes I think I have an angel looking over my shoulder, providing me with things that help me get through. The lines of this book were exactly what I needed during this time. I got myself back up, and started doing things/going to places that fuel my soul. Visiting Pärnu was one of them. We decided to stay at Wasa Resort – the new spa hotel in Pärnu, since they allowed pets. After arrival we went for a walk by the beach (as you can see from the photos below, Mõmmi was very happy about that). For dinner we headed to Steffani Pizza Restaurant, where we stuffed ourselves with so much gluten (garlic bread, pizza, pasta) that I felt hesitant of slipping into a bikini the next morning for a morning swim. I’m glad I did it though, I even managed to get Marek into the water with me, which hasn’t happened once during our (almost) six years together. Successful trip in every way!
