Since we cooked ourselves on Marek’s actual birthday, I knew I wanted to take him on a proper birthday dinner once we get back home (you know, somewhere fancy, because he had given me so much for my birthday). I knew the place is going to be Fotografiska restaurant beforehand, I also knew I wanted to go there during sunset hour to make the experience even more unforgettable. What I didn’t know was how amazing the whole thing is actually gonna turn out. I must admit that neither of us is really into fine dining, but that place won us over. Maybe it was the otherworldly sunset and the calmness that came with it, the ethereal courses, my companion… maybe it was all of those things. I’m so thankful we got up and decided to do this, because up until last minute we weren’t sure if it’s really for us. When you happen to read this post, do yourself and your loved one a favour and book a table today. And once you’ve both sat down there please do one more thing for me by trying the farm veggies with farm cheese sauce and plum compote with sour milk ice cream – you can write me a thank you letter later. It was truly an experience that made me fall in love with food, with life all over again, so to say it was just a dinner would be an understatement.
