Thought I’d share some raw photos of us enjoying a sunny Saturday afternoon. First we visited my grandma, who greeted us with a warm hug, my favorite soup – Borscht and pancakes with fresh strawberry jam. It’s funny to think that before Marek came into my life, our relationship was non-existent. Maybe that is why she treats him like one of her own grandchildren.
We both admire her so much. She had a very rough childhood, her husband (my grandfather) passed away very early, she has buried all her sisters and brothers, fought with breast cancer and last year she had to bury her son. Instead of falling into depression, she has been incredibly strong and is probably one of the funniest person’s we know. We love you so much!
Later we went to Pääsküla bog, where we stayed for about an hour and a half. It was a bit windy, but beautiful nevertheless. Before heading home we got kebabs with fries from Nõmme Kebab and pastries from Narva café. We ended the night under a blanket on the couch, watching which song is chosen to represent Estonia in Eurovision 2018.
How do you usually spend your Saturdays?
